Samsung now offers Bixby remapping to older phones

A few days ago we wrote about Samsung letting users customize the Bixby button functionality on the new Galaxy S10. The company has also promised that they would deliver the update to older devices as well allowing their users to do the same. They have delivered, and with the new Bixby app update, you can now remap the Bixby button.

You can do this by going to Advanced features -> Bixby key. Let us remind you that you'll still have to assign Bixby either to a single or a double press, whichever you prefer, but you'll be free to use the other option for whatever preinstalled or third party app, or even a command sequence.

Another cool feature, however only offered in China, is that the Chinese version of the S10 let's users change the "Hi Bixby" wake up call for whatever they wish. We still don't know though whether this update will come to other regions.
