Schedules released for the upcoming GPU Turbo update for Huawei devices

Several Huawei devices will be receiving the GPU Turbo feature as an update soon, the company announced it recently and covered a list for it including the schedule for when the update will arrive.

Fourteen devices have been subjected for the update so far which will begin to roll out in August. The Mate 10 and the P20 variants will be the first ones to receive the update next month followed by the Nova 2i and the P variants on September, and lastly the Mate 9 and P10 variants on November.

Huawei boldly stated that the GPU Turbo feature once installed, will be able to boost the efficiency of the graphic processing by 60% while reducing the power consumption by 30% despite not giving any idea on how the feature works. Besides the improvement on the processing and the consumption, it will also enhance the AR and VR performance which is a nice touch if it’s true.
