Ten years Android anniversary
This year Google's Android turned 10, and Google wanted to celebrate by releasing a blog spot talking about all the different versions of Android and what they improvements they brought. For example, Anrdoid 1.0 didn't even support on screen keyboards, however, the 1.5 Cupcake brought this to the table paving the way for all future iterations. Android 1.6 Donut introduced Android’s Quick Search Box while 2.0 Eclair brought Google Maps.
