Vivo NEX sponsors PUBG Global Championship 2019

In June 2018, vivo introduced the model NEX S. It was quite an interesting device back then, with a huge screen and a pop-up selfie camera. Not long after, the company moved forward to develop its OS with which they introduced their Multi-Turbo Engine software booster.

Last weekend, at the PUBG Mobile Club Open championship in Berlin, vivo was the main partner. All players of the 16 teams that participated in the championship used a vivo NEX smartphone with Multi-Turbo Engine and Turbo Mode.

Multi-Turbo Engine is a series of boosters for the software and hardware. Combined, these boosters provide an improved gaming experience, squeezing out every little bit of performance from the components. Game Turbo connects to the game performance SDK to enable specific optimizations to PUBG Mobile and other popular mobile games.

Center Turbo optimizes CPU and internal storage performance specifically for games. There is also the Cooling Turbo that does its magic through thermal management features. Of course, AI is here as well – AI Turbo “intelligently allocates” CPU/GPU power.

Through their vivo NEX phones, players also used the Turbo Mode that optimizes the display specifically for PUBG Mobile. This feature is a product of collaboration between the developers of the game and vivo. It supports HDR+ Extreme and delivers a stable high frame rate.

If you own a vivo NEX phone, these features are available to you as well, provided that you installed the latest FunTouchOS 9 update.
