Huawei Mate 30 Pro will have a large notch
Modern smartphones come in many different shapes and sizes, however, it’s almost universally agreed that users don’t like notches. Manufacturers have, therefore, done the impossible to remove the notch design. We’ve seen sliders, pop-up cameras, even rotating setup, just to remove the notch. It seems though that Huawei simply doesn’t care enough though. Huawei Mate 30 Pro is yet to be launched, but the rumors say that the phone will come with a wide notch.
The leaked front panel of the Mate 30 Pro has 5 holes in the notch on top. These holes are probably there to house a selfie camera sensor, a proximity sensor, and a speaker. The remaining hole will probably house a ToF sensor for face unlock features.

Some leaks say that the same will happen with the regular Mate 30. The photo of the front glass reveals that the Mate 30 Pro’s display will come with a significant curve (probably akin to the Mate 20 Pro). The regular Mate 30’s display should be less curved, but we’ll still see. Bezels should be virtually non-existent, which is just great design.
The company still hasn’t said anything about the potential launch date of the phone, most probably due to the whole US-China situation.
