Apple iPhone 2019 lineup rumors roundup

Apple will introduce three new iPhones this September at their event. These phones will be direct successors to last year’s iPhone XSXS Max, and XR. The new phones will have the same screens as their predecessors, regarding resolutions and screen technologies. According to rumors, Apple will install AMOLED screen on its most affordable smartphone in 2020.

We also expected the company to move to USB-C standard with their 2019 iPhone lineup. Sadly, this won’t happen as the reports suggest that the phones will come with the Lightning port once again. The new iPhones will be powered by the Apple A13 SoC, codenamed Cebu.

They will come with a whole new type of Taptic Engine, known by the codename “leap haptics”. We don’t know what exactly it will do, but it probably has something to do with the fact that the 2019 iPhones won’t have 3D Touch.

The successors to the iPhone XS and XS Max will have three cameras on the back. The extra camera will be an ultra wide-angle sensor, which will come together with the normal wide and telephoto lenses.

This new sensor will be used for a new feature called Smart Frame. When you capture a normal photo or video with, the ultra-wide will also take an image, which will allow you to adjust the framing or perform automatic perspective and crop corrections.

The front-facing cameras on the new iPhones will be upgraded, which will allow you to record 120fps slo-mo videos.
