Apple to initially produce 75 million iPhones
Apple’s suppliers in China are reportedly preparing to manufacture 75 million iPhone 11 devices within the first three months of production time. This number is exactly the same as last year when the company released the Apple iPhone XS family. According to Bloomberg, Foxconn has increased the salaries of its workforce by 10% to make sure they have enough workers to meet Apple’s demands.
This 75 million units order isn’t the final number. Apple aims at this number for September, October and a portion of November. Afterward, the numbers can be adjusted in accordance with the demand.

It seems that the company’s expecting the iPhone shipments to remain the same as last year. This might suggest one of the two things. It might be that the company doesn’t see this year’s iPhone as a revolutionary new device, or the fact that not everyone wants to spend more than $1.000 on a phone is just now crossing their minds.
