iPhone XI cases reveal new model’s design
Previous rumors suggested that the iPhone XI models might follow the iPad Pro path of using a USB-C connector instead of the Lightning port. New Olixar case renders, however, completely deny this claim.
The case only has a small cutout at the bottom. This cutout isn’t big enough to house USB-C plug. The new iPad models also stuck to the Lightning standard, which means that Apple still isn’t ready to completely commit to the universal standard.

Another something that should be mentioned is the square cutout for the camera. Like it or not, it seems that this design is here to stay, although it’s definitely not the prettiest they could’ve done.
Olixar even made a tempered glass protector for the camera. It perfectly covers the camera and has four holes cut out – three for the camera sensors and one for the flash. A tempered glass protector for the screen shows that, on the front, the notch design is here to stay. Note that the screen protector should represent the notch more accurately than the first render above.

Talking about the XR accessories, we see the same square cutout in the case, but there are only two cameras.
Olixar calls this phone the “iPhone 11R”. We guess it’s better than “iPhone XIR”. Similarly, the premium models are called “iPhone 11” and “iPhone 11 Max” rather than “XI”.
