New Nokia 6 with Snapdragon 660 chip?
Everyone who have been so far in doubt whether to buy Nokia 6 or not, will still be able to smile and wait for the next month because the model 6 could leave its old chipset and move to a new and much more powerful Snapdragon 660.
It is already known that the Finnish brand will refresh old model and present it as Nokia 6 (2018), and the rumors and storytelling us that this model will come with a newer chipset, which will be a big jump from the Snapdragon 430 in the old version of the phone. Snapdragon 660 is a much more capable chipset that works on the principle of two clusters, one is stronger for demanding operations and one smaller for everyday operations. The larger cluster consists of four Kryo 260 cores, with a clock of 2.2GHz, while the smaller one consists of four additional Kryo 260 cores that works on 1.8GHz. This chipset, introduced at the beginning of this year, was also made in the 14th manufacturing process, which is much better than the 28nm process in which the SD 430 is made. What's also a significant difference in these chips is the RAM speed, while the 430 series runs at 933MHz, the 660 has a double operating frequency of 1866MHz.
This model is supposed to be announced in the middle of next month, which will also be the first anniversary of an old but new brand purchased by Finland's company HMD. In addition to chipset information, it is also believed that the phone will have 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal memory, and such a phone would be a real investment when it would have the same price as an active model – around 200 €. Unfortunately, in this case, this is very unlikely to happen because the price of the new chipset is considerably higher.
