Next Snapdragon tested on Geekbench
Rumors online seem to suggest that the next Qualcomm chipset, supposedly named Snapdragon 855, tested on Geekbench revealing quite an outstanding performance. A chipset codenamed "QUALCOMM msmnile for arm64" scored 3697 points in single core and 10649 points in multi-core performance, which is an improvement compared to the Snapdragon 845 that usually tests around 2400 SC and 8500-9000 MC performance. This new chipset is listed as an octa-core CPU clocked at 1.78 GHz.
Even this chipset, which is amazing compared to the previous iteration, still won't be able to match Apple's last year's A11 Bionic chipset. We can only image how far ahead will be the new A12, that is expected to launch in 2018 iPhone models. Snapdragon 855 will be built on a 7nm process and it will probably support 5G connections.
