Nokia X5 to be released on July 11 and a couple of Nokia devices rumored for Q3 2018

Recently, an unannounced smartphone was advertised in China under the banner of Nokia X smartphone but now HMD Global is reported to be unveiling a new mid-range phone next week called the Nokia X5 although the specs of the device remains vague besides that it will feature a lower resolution display. The company announced that it will officially be released on July 11.

Rumors states that the Nokia X5 will be powered by a MediaTek chipset instead of a Snapdragon processor probably because it’s much cheaper. If the rumors were true, then it’s unknown why HMD would not choose the latter which many would prefer.

On the other news, the company is also preparing another flagship phone that will be powered by Snapdragon 845 processor and another mid-range phone that’ll be powered by Snapdragon 710 which is said to be unveiled on the third quarter of 2018. HMD Global is on a streak this year releasing several smartphones
