OnePlus 5T announced with new screen
OnePlus 5T is announced on event that took place in New York, and refreshed version of his predecessor brings us new screen with 18:9 aspect ratio with minimal bezels. This model supports facial recognition unlock, and it process this in 0.4 seconds. Not revolutionary technology like TrueDepth system, but once again, we support implementing more features!
Rear camera got edited on this phone too, zoom camera is dismissed with another one of 20MP and f/1.7 lens aperture, for the purpose of passing more light on the image sensor. Under low light conditions, the mode switches to another camera, and software will combine 4 neighboring pixels on the photo to reduce noise.
On this model, we can find Optic AMOLED screen, with a size of 6.01-inch, which reproduces FullHD+ resolution, to be precise – 2160 x 1080 pixels. Because of the minimalized bezels and home button being moved to the rear side of the phone, more space was created for the screen, so it covers 80% of the frontal side. Screen ration is changed, and it is 18:9 now, what results with 401 pixel per inch.
Chipset on this model remains unchanged, so we once again can find top of the ladder chipset from Qualcomm, and that is Snapdragon 835. This chipset comes paired with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal memory, or as another option, 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal memory.
Battery also remains the same, and it still contains 3300 mAh, with fast charge support, or how OnePlus calls it, DASH Charge. It comes with Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS, and Oreo updgrade is already expected.
This model will carry a price tag of 500€ for 6/64GB version, and it will be 60€ more cheaper from 8/128GB version.
