Redmi Note 7 coming to India
Redmi India has confirmed that they will be releasing the Note 7 in their local market on February 28. The event will be held in New Delhi, and people can already register to buy tickets for the event.
Redmi says that the Note 7 is a head turner. Marketing was done completely upside down in order to show the customers how revolutionary the phone really is. We even got a new hashtag that read #thuglife, but upside down, and the number 7 instead of the letter L.
The company has also stated on their Twitter account that they will make a giveaway of one Note 7 if the post reaches 4800 retweets, a symbolic number that reflects one of two main selling points of the new smartphone – the 48MP main camera. Aside from the camera, what also made this phone a best-seller in China is its Snapdragon 660 chipset as well as a very low price point.
In India the phone is expected to cost around INR9,999 (around 125 €) for the 3/32GB. Slightly more expensive will be the 4/64GB version that will also come to India, however the 6GB RAM version will remain exclusive only to Chinese market.
