Redmi Note 7 isn’t as unbreakable after all
Xiaomi's Redmi Note 7 came with a great price point an an incredible 48MP camera, so its no wonder it sold in over 1 million units in about a month. The company has marketed this phone as almost indestructible, however, JerryRigEverything has proved this to be not exactly true.
His tests showed that the phone has some weak spots in its frame, mainly around the power button and the SIM tray. If you happen to accidentally sit on your phone, it will bend and basically the phone will be destroyed. The back of the phone is covered by an extra layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5, however it didn't help that much.
Lu Weibing, company's CEO has released a series of videos showing how this phone is used as skates or even tumbled down stairs in a bucket. Apparently, it survived all these test, but we're sure that you won't use your phone as a chopping board, however, sitting on it is a real concern, so you should be careful.
