Xiaomi sold 1 million Mi Band 4’s in 8 days

Xiaomi introduced the Mi Band 4 earlier this month. This time around, the band has a color display and better sports recognition. The band seems to be a huge success on the Chinese market. Xiaomi has so far sold over 1 million units in the first eight days of its availability. As for the global market, the device should come on June 26.

The company stated that at one point they managed over 5.000 shipments per hour. At that rate, the Mi Band 4 was the fastest shipping wearable device ever. As opposed to the predecessor, it comes with a bigger display, which is this time in color. Also, it comes with 2.5D curved glass and many more features, however, Xiaomi still promises that it will deliver 15-20 days of battery life, which is essentially the biggest selling point of the device.

The Mi Band 4, in China, comes at a price of CNY169 (€21), while the NFC version for wireless payments costs CNY229 (€30). The Mi Stores in Spain and Italy will offer it for €35, which is still a great value, considering the improved features from the Mi Band 3 that arrived at €29 12 months ago.
