A variant of the Nokia 9 with fingerprint scanner is being developed by HMD Global
There are reports recently that HMD Global is working on a variant of a Nokia 9 smartphone that would be build on the Nokia 8 Sirocco with an added feature of a fingerprint scanner under its display. It seems that it will be powered by Snapdragon 845 processor and features an improved camera.

The smartphone will feature a UD fingerprint scanner like the one on the Vivo X21 UD and a P-OLED display with an unknown ratio. It’s unknown what the camera would feature but it seem that there were problems during the development and HMD Global is working on to solve it.
The development of Nokia 9 started back several months ago on February and is expected to be done during the same time for an H2 introduction this August or September.
