Apple reportedly started production of AirPower
Last year was when we first heard the rumors about Apple's wireless charging pad, but at the time it was still far ahead into the future due to technical limitations of building such a product. However, it seems that now the company has figured it out and we might get the product in 2019. Some reports seems to suggest that the production of such a charging pad has already started which means that we might even get it in H1 2019.
AirPower, as the new accessory could end up being called, will be able to wirelessly charge up up to three devices simultaneously no matter where you place them on the surface. The picture shows the iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods being charged, although AirPods in their current form don't support wireless charging. What this means is that we will soon probably also get the next generation of AirPods compatible with wireless charging.

Most probably, this new accessory will be unveiled at an Apple spring event where they will intorduce two new "entry level" iPads. However, the rumor only says that the release is due "later in 2019", and since 2019 has only just begun, we may even see a release sometime in Q3 or Q4 of the year.
