HMD announced new mid-ranger – Nokia 7.1
Nokia has recently introduced a new device to their mid-range offer, and it's the improved Nokia 7.1. The design of the new Nokia 7.1 looks very familiar, but the front panel has seen some improvements – there is a notch on top and a somewhat bigger chin.
Speaking of the display, an important information is that this phone supports HDR10 color reproduction on its PureDisplay LCD panel. This 5.84" 1080 x 2280 pixel display is also protected but Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

As every new device, the Nokia 7.1 has a double camera setup on the back with a 12 megapixel f/1.8 aperture main sensor and a 5 megapixel monochore secondary sensor. Both these cameras are signed by Carl Zeiss, while the front facing 8 megapixel f/2.0 sensor isn't. Nonetheless, it supports AI facial unlocking.
This phone is powered by the Snapdragon 636 chipset paired with either 3 or 4GB of RAM and either 32 or 64GB of internal storage memory which is expandable via a microSD card. All this is is fed with power by a 3060 mAh battery that is charged through a Type-C port at the bottom edge of the device. Nokia claims that using a factory charged the phone can charge up to 50% in only 30 minutes, which would be an incredible result if these claims turn out to be true. Also, Nokia 7.1 comes with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box, but the update to 9.0 Pie is expected very soon. Available color options are Gloss Midnight BLue and Gloss Steel, and the price is between 319 to 349 €. Nokia 7.1 will be available to the customers starting October 28.
