Official Apple Smart Battery Case now available
Do you remember that time when Apple released a battery case which everyone ridiculed (rightfully so) for its design? Whell, now that case got an update, and now many of the issues are fixed! This new case comes ready to be used by the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR.
This new case is similar to the one before, but it has several very disctinct differences. The case plugs into the Lightning connector, the same there is in the iPhones, meaning that you can charge the case with the same charger. When the phone is placed into the case, it is perpetually charged until the battery from the case if fully depleted.
Apart from this, the case can also be charged wirelessly, via standard QI chargers, and not only that but it also supports USB-PD fart charging. The new case also received a design makeover. The battery in the back now reaches the bottom part of the case making it look much better, and not as awkward as it did 3 years ago. It is made of silicon, comes in only two colors, black and white, and costs $129 for all three models.
