Oppo A9 soon to join Oppo’s A series lineup

Oppo’s A series will soon get a new addition – Oppo A9. Leaked information suggests that it could be announced next week at a price of about 225€.

The phone will have a dual main camera setup on the back with a 48MP main sensor, similar to the Reno. This time there won’t be any fancy pop-up selfie cameras, but we will only get an ordinary camera inside the waterdrop notch.

Oppo A9 has a fingerprint scanner on the back. Vertical branding is in line with the latest Oppo design solutions.

The battery in the phone will have the capacity of 4.020mAh and VOOC 3.0 fast charge (20W). The phone should come in three color versions: Ice Jade White, Mica Green and Fluorite Purple.

The A9 will come in only one memory configuration – 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. The chipset is unknown, but the A series usually uses MediaTek chipsets (and some weaker Snapdragon chips). The phone should be released on April 30 (next Tuesday) if these rumors are correct.
