Xiaomi Mi 8 selling like hotcakes!

Xiaomi has reached incredible success selling over 6 million Mi 8 units is only a bit over 4 months since its release. This was reported by Lei Jun, Xiaomi's founder and CEO on his Weibo account. This encompasses the whole range of Mi 8 device – the Mi 8, Mi 8 Pro, Mi 8 Lite and Mi 8 SE. 

Xiaomi will probably sell a few more (million) devices in the following months, since the latest two additions to the line-up were only released in September. Also, Lei Jun said that Xiaomi will celebrate their success – only in China though. Xiaomi will offer a discount of CNY 200 ($28 or €25) for the Mi 8 reducing its price to CNY 2,499 ($360 or €314).
