Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 to be announced on October 25
Rumors from earlier this month turned out to be real – Xiaomi did make an announcement! The announcement was, well, that they would be revealing the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 on October 25. This phone will be interesing because it will have the sliding camera mechanism.
The sliding mechanism in the Mix 3 is going to be different than the one found in the Oppo Find X – we won't have only a portion of the phone slide up, but rather the whole back (or front, depending on your POV) slides up to reveal the camera.
We still know very little about the specs on this phone, but what we do know is that it will have a dedicated Xiao AI button, akin to the Bixby button found on Samsung devices. We just hope that Xiaomi will make better use than Samsung of their assistant, or at least they'll let users use the button to their own preference if the assistant doesn't suffice.
