Xiaomi teases the Mi Fold in another video
Xiaomi's foldable phone called Mi Fold is expected to be released sometime by the end of June, and Xiaomi is already teasing their new phone quite a lot. This time the company has posted a video of a person operating the new device, showing what it looks like in both tablet and folded modes.
Also, the video shows the "Back" gesture, the swipe from the right edge of the display, which is quite handy when the device is unfolded. Unlike the displays in the Samsung Galaxy F or the Huawei Mate X, the Mi Fold has a double folding display. It bends towards outside leaving you with a virtually bezel-less display when folded.
Xiaomi has stated that their Mi Fold is going to costs about half as much as the Galaxy F. The screen of the new device was made by Xiaomi in collaboration with Visionox, while the dual folding mechanism and all the tweaks to MIUI were all made in house by Xiaomi.
