Asus ROG Phone 2 coming to global market

Back in July, Asus revealed its latest mobile gaming powerhouse called Asus ROG Phone 2. At IFA 2019 in Berlin, the company announced that the phone is now coming to the global market. It will come with 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage, but its price will be set at 899€.
The new ROG Phone II is officially the first smartphone with Snapdragon 855+ chipset and comes with 120 Hz 10-bit HDR screen.
Asus equipped the device with a 6.59” AMOLED screen, under which there is an in-display fingerprint reader. According to the company, it exceeds the DCI-P3 color space (108%) and boasts perfect color accuracy.
When it comes to sound reproduction, the phone comes with DTS:X Ultra speakers. They are placed in larger chambers which results in a mightier sound. This device has a 48 MP main camera and a 13 MP wide-angle secondary sensor, the same setup as in the Zenfone 6.
The phone is already ready for pre-orders on Asus’s website. It will be available in third-party shops starting September 20.
There is also the Asus ROG Phone 2 Ultimate Edition with double the storage (that’s a total of 1 TB) and Cat.20 capabilities of the chipset. It will be sold right in time for the holiday season for the price of 1,199€.
