Asus ZenFone 6 coming next week with SD855

Asus has confirmed some of the features of the ZenFone 6. This new phone is set to be unveiled next week on May 16.

The company has shared an image on Twitter which confirms the ZenFone 6 will be powered by a Snapdragon 855 chipset. The smartphone will come with a Notification LED and have a 3.5 mm headphone jack at the bottom next to the USB-C port.

There will be a Smart Key on the right side of the phone accompanied by volume rocker and power button. On the left, there will be triple slots for SIM and microSD cards.3

Additionally, an Asus executive shared some more details of the ZenFone 6 in the form of Morse Code on Instagram. When converted, this code confirms a dual camera (48MP+13MP) setup and a 5,000 mAh battery – both of which are significant upgrades over what the ZenFone 5z came with.

The new phone will sport a notchless display, which according to AnTuTu, will have a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels.

We are just a week away from the unveiling of the ZenFone 6, but until then, we may see this Taiwanese phone maker reveal some more features of its 2019 flagship.
