OnePlus newest update leads to battery life problems

OnePlus has recently implemented an update over the air for its devices such as the OnePlus 3/3T, 5/5T, and the latest OnePlus 6.The goal of the update was supposed to only fix the issues and add some features but it ended up causing significant trouble to a lot of OnePlus device owners.

Users over at the official OnePlus forums were complaining after they updated their devices and that their device’s battery was draining awfully fast. They also complained that their devices can only live up to a half the lifetime than it was before and that their phone shuts down even with 50% charged unless you plug it in a power source. Some have their devices on standby but dies down without any warning.

There were also some complaints about the camera app freezes when using it after the update. Users assume that the new update brought a bug which forces the screen to consume more battery.

Hopefully OnePlus is already making an update to fix the problem as soon as possible.
