Asus begun to roll out the new update for the Zenfone 5Z

After the ZenFone 5Z received an update last month with the June Android security patch, Asus has begun rolling out the newest software update for the ZenFone 5Z over-the-air which will improve its Wi-Fi stability, the camera, and overall performance. It also includes patches to fix bugs and issues.

The update also enables the Camera app of the smartphone to use the RAW files which saves the hassle. The update also features a real-time filters and a panorama mode that lets users capture panoramic shots even when just using the default camera app. The new update also allows users the option to activate or deactivate the electronic image stabilisation which is EIS for short and the Pro mode’s LED flash.

Other improvements in the update includes camera stability, auto exposure, photo sharpness, and autofocus functionality. The quality and size when recording normal and slow-motion clips have been vastly improved. The boost audio quality has also been upgraded to 192kbps bitrate.

The update should arrive on the ZenFone 5Z automatically in a FOTA package but you can also manually install it by checking the system updates on the phone’s system settings.
